The Gemini 5K is a master of low-light situations. Initially designed for shooting in outer space, RED's new 5K sensor in the familiar Epic-W body has a dual ISO mode of base 3200 or 800, equipping it for both standard setups as well as low-light conditions. In low-light mode, it offers approximately 2 more stops of light than Helium does while significantly diminishing noise and still retaining shadow details. At 5120 x 3000, the Gemini sensor is 300 pixels taller than RED's standard 5K FF resolution, allowing for greater anamorphic lense coverage than with Helium or RED Dragon sensors.
